Why do I get Quebec CCA entries for a taxpayer who was residing outside of Quebec on December 31, 2006?

DT Max does not normally display Quebec amounts for non-Quebec residents.

This issue is strictly a display matter that has no impact on the tax calculations.

In the data entry screen, DT Max may display Quebec balances for opening UCC for a taxpayer residing in a province other than Quebec. If you wish, you may delete these Quebec entries using [Ctrl+Backspace].

Further to this correction, note that starting with v10.20, for a taxpayer residing outside of Quebec with a business operating in Quebec, you will have to re-enter the Quebec undepreciated capital cost (UCC) at the start of the year if it should be different (based on the UCC at the end of the year in 2005) than the federal UCC at the start of the year in 2006.
